The five musicians behind Breet have developped their personal and intimate working method.
The idea is easy: a maximum of engagement and no limit to experiments.
Everyday noise is transferred into progressive rhythms and atmospheres to drop out.
Their sound is marked by tiny details and a care for all the little differences.

Zen lunacy
“The music is where we start and where we go. Everything that is added to the music, such as the words and the artwork, is born from it. The recordings took place in the Poisson-Rivière studios ( Fischbach / Manternach ) from January to June 2007. We freed ourselves from time pressure and left no experiment undone, turning “Zen Lunacy” into a sort of collage, combining weird effects, stereoscopic panoramas and abstract frequencies.
In the end, “Zen lunacy” became a very compact album with a lot of surprises. The lyrics are the story of a little boy who wakes up one morning and starts a journey through the sleeping world. He learns to question his surroundings, encounters different energies, loses his way and finds himself in the end. From civilized nature to square bureaucracy, from rhythmical orgies to Yeti screams, imagination and self-fulfillment, it’s all in the music.
The artwork is inspired by the music and themes of the lyrics. The panoramas stand for Zen lunacy, landscapes that combine the various songs into one big, crazy, relaxed world. Atmosphere and color of each song are reflected by the single images in the booklet. We are proud to present an independent production and hope you share our passion. Rock’n’Roll”
